Here's a little history about myself.
I'm divorced with 2 wonderful children who are a lot smarter than I.
I have spent the last 20 years working overseas and traveling the world as an Network engineer. The job is great and allowed me to travel to very unique places and work with some great people.
I was inspired to build and start bikng for different reasons than most. After years of sitting behind a computer(getting fat) and no driving (companies supplied cars an drivers), I decided to come home and see the States and South America.
After doing a lot of research, I decided to do a bicycle trip to get the most out of my travels. I usually backpack thru countries with a schedule of three days per town (most cities overseas are small and can be walked/bused/trained in three days).
For years I collected pictures only to have both my hard drives fail within hours of each other, so this is the main reason for the website.
I am not a professional photographer, I have friends who camp out for weeks for the perfect photo, so knowing this I decided that the Nokia 808 then the 1020 41 meg camera phones were the perfect camera for myself.
I usually travel alone , due to most people are more about comfort and bling than experiences.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, which is 990 more than I usually say, so this site is a lot of pictures.
